Ouanounou France
Ouanounou, based in south of France has been co-founder, label manager, producer and DJ of the Monstart label since 2009.
His DJ sets & residencies have resonated in famous clubs in France and Europe.
Through his 15-year career, Ouanounou offers us in 2023 his new EP "Stepping Out" Exploring club energy in the 130-160 BPM range, this highly UK-influenced project is an ode to club effervescence.

A great left-field comp from France, filled with very pulled-back 2step and dubby ghetto bass. Adds to one's arsenal of tunes to mix in between genres or spice the scene up. If you need songs of varying speeds, this one's the way to go.

Even more tunes to assault the club with, this time, with much more focus on deep encompassing bass, with very few distractions, save for two funky tracks from Borussia and, of course, The Phantom's Revenge. Can make for some very potential mash-ups and cross-overs in mixtapes. Borussia gots me wrapped for this one. Cute lil' jam and vox, and classic vinyl scratching always gets me working round the house.

Just like the first volume, this one sets the tone again for fast and funky dubs and crazy step patterns. Expands out ghetto a bit more, focusing more on a chill hook than sporadic vocal chops. EXCEPT for The Phantom's Revenge. That dude's crazy. Always killin' it.
